About Us

Live Action Roleplay (LARP) was created in February 2021. We are a group of mature individuals with a great amount of experience within FiveM and some within IRL Emergency Services. We here at LARP follow all terms of services within FiveM. We try to create a realistic roleplay (esx-based) experience and are a welcoming community for those to come and have fun and socialize and feel like they are fully a part of something great.


Summary

The role of the Battalion Chief’s is to assist the Chief in making decisions in regards to policy and operations in the department as a command member, being able to give major disciplinary points. They can take command of scenes as well as play a crucial role in monitoring the training policies of the various SAFR branches. Battalion Chief’s supervises the SAFR Captains who handle individual groups of firefighters while on shift, coordinating emergency responses and managing large and small fire crews. The Battalion Chief performs professional administrative and managerial duties for the Fire Department, serves as chief field officer on an assigned shift and may assume significant fire prevention responsibilities. Battalion Chief's are required to provide effective leadership, mentorship, and direction to the company officers they supervise.

 

Supervision Received
Battalion Chief’s works under the oversight of the Assistant Chief which reviews work in conformance with policy and set expectations.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to be patient and firm in managing the department, services to the public, and community disputes
  • Willingness to pursue additional members to fill and maintain an active department
  • Knowledge and ability to effectively implement incident Command System
  • Plan, assign, supervise, and review the work of assigned company
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the staffing and activities of all Fire and EMS personnel on an assigned shift
  • Demonstrating firefighting techniques when administering training and operating a vehicle safely while using defensive driving techniques
     

Conditions of Employment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAFR SOPs within 1 week of hire
  • Shall possess and maintain all certification within SAFR
