Any person(s) operating a motor vehicle at any time when that person's driving privilege is suspended or revoked.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, under the following criteria of offense count;
shall receive a minimum of 30 Minutes, or a fine of $2,000, and a 2 day vehicle impound.
shall receive a minimum of 1 Hour, or a fine of $5,000, and a 5 day vehicle impound.
shall receive a minimum of 3 Hours, and a fine of $15,000, and a 10 day vehicle impound.
Note: Officers/Deputies/troopers may petition the courts for longer license suspensions.

Any person(s) while operating a motor vehicle, collides with a pedestrian or motor vehicle, then proceeds to drive away with intent to avoid consequences. May be combined with Manslaughter if collision resulted in deaths.
Shall be liable under a Class A (5), Class B (4), or Class C offense only, and shall receive a minimum of 12 Hours, along with a 3 Day license suspension and an 2 Day impounding of their vehicle. Sentencing Enhancements are allowed for this charge.
Note: As this charge can be tried as a misdemeanor or a felony, Class C shall apply to any incident where only property damage has occurred and thus will be charged as the misdemeanor, while Class A or B applies when there is injuries occurred and must be charged as a felony.

Any person(s) engaging in reckless or careless usage of a non-aerial or street-legal vehicle with or without intent but the creation of distress or the opportunity to cause harm. This can include ATVs, golf carts, boats & naval vehicles, or other equipment not driven on roads.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a penalty under the following criteria of offense count;
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine a + minimum of 1 Hour + 3 Day Impounding of Vehicle
$15,000 fine + minimum of 1 Hour + 7 Day Impounding of Vehicle + 3 Day Suspension of License
If offense is continued, punishment shall revert back to third offense and continue to be issued. Sentencing Enhancements are allowed for this charge.

No driver may operate a vehicle at a speed greater than the posted speed limit.
No person shall drive a vehicle upon a highway at a speed greater than is reasonable or prudent having due regard for weather, visibility, the traffic on, and the surface and width of, the highway, and in no event at a speed which endangers the safety of persons or property.
When no speed limit is posted the following speed limits apply:
15 mph in any alley way
25 mph on any residential street
35 mph on any single lane city street
40 mph on any double lane + major city street
50 mph on any route outside of the city of Los Santos
65 mph on any state highway, freeway, interstate, or US highway
A driver who fails to show a use of fair judgment in their speed when driving in poor conditions, such as poor weather, or on unpaved, slick, or damaged roads.
No person shall drive upon a highway at such a slow speed as to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic unless the reduced speed is necessary for safe operation, because of a grade, or in compliance with law.
No person shall bring a vehicle to a complete stop upon a highway so as to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic unless the stop is necessary for safe operation or in compliance with law.
No person may drive any of the following vehicles on a highway at a speed in excess of 60 miles per hour:
A motor-truck or truck tractor having three or more axles or any motor-truck or truck tractor drawing any other vehicle.
A vehicle transporting explosives.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and a fine under the following criteria:
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine
$7,500 fine + 2 Day Impounding of Vehicle + 3 Day Suspension of License

A vehicle that fails to follow traffic control devices, such as:
Not yielding to an emergency vehicle with visible emergency lightings and sounding sirens;
Crossing a double yellow line when NOT entering or leaving a parking lot or driveway;
Ignoring signs, roadblocks, hand signals, or other equipment used by law enforcement to direct traffic;
Failing to adhere to Title 12 Section 1212 when appropriate.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and a fine under the following criteria:
$1,000 fine
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine + 3 Day Suspension of License

Any vehicle parked unlawfully according to the Parking Definitions Act These include, but are not limited to;
In a manner that obstructs a lane of traffic and prevents traffic from properly flowing.
In a manner that obstructs a driveway, private road or path, or alleyway used by traffic and prevents traffic from entering and/or exiting the driveway, private road or path, or alleyway.
In a manner that obstructs a parking lot and prevents vehicles from leaving or entering the lot.
Within a marked crosswalk.
On any sidewalk that completely obstructs pedestrian foot traffic, or on any median.
Facing opposing traffic.
Parking against a red curb except where permitted in Chapter II Section I of the Parking Definitions Act.
On any bridge mentioned within Chapter II Section VII of the Parking Definitions Act.
In any tunnel defined within Chapter I Section III Subsection (d) of the Parking Definitions Act.
On any freeway shoulder lane except for emergencies.
On or within range of railroad tracks, where such a range poses the risk of the vehicle being struck by any railroad cars.
Directly in front of or within five feet of any hydrant, whether or not the vehicle is occupied.
At or near a helipad or an aircraft landing zone, if in control of a non-aerial vehicle.
In a manner that a vehicle takes up two parking spaces.
No more than 2 motorcycles may park abreast in 1 parking space given that the parking is wide enough for 2 motorcycles.
In any handicap parking space without handicap identification permit.
Note: As it is the responsibility of the private property owner to determine parking rules for their private property (i.e. private parking lots), so long as it does not violate the Parking Definitions Act. A private property owner or business property owner has the right to have a vehicle removed if found to be parked within private or business property within the confines of their privatized lot if the vehicle's operator has no relevance or purpose to the private or business property itself.
Parking bays adjacent to any State or Municipal property including their respective bodies, departments, or agencies, belong to and are at the discretion of the State, Municipality, or the agency which is adjacent to the parking bay. The respective agency may opt to disallow civilian motor vehicles of State or Municipal governments or their agencies from stopping, standing, or parking a motor vehicle in the parking bay. allowing the parking bay to be used only for emergency vehicles or employees of the respective agency, which is to be determined by internal agency policy.
Parking bays adjacent to any non-business property are open to the public for parking, whether or not the vehicle owner takes part in, attends, or has any relevance to any activity or purpose within the non-business property adjacent to the parking bay.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall be given an $2,500 fine.
Note: Vehicles obstructing the flow of traffic or imposing a risk to the public may be impounded for 1 Day.

Any person(s) who does not use care or caution while driving his or her vehicle with blatant disregard for the safety of others, safety of his or her self, or violation of expected vehicular conduct while on the road.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a minimum of 60 Minutes, and a fine under the following criteria of offense count;
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine
$10,000 fine + 4 Day Impounding of Vehicle + 7 Day Suspension of License
If offense is continued, punishment shall revert back to third offense and continue to be issued.

Any person(s) operating a vehicle that emits excessive noise - such as through unnecessary horn usage, or the emittance of loud music without regard to noise pollution.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $1,000 fine.

Any person(s) operating a vehicle in a manner that could lead to personal injury or damages to another vehicle or individual. (EX: Texting while Driving, Failure to Maintain Lanes, etc)
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and a fine under the following criteria:
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine
$7,500 fine + 2 Day Vehicle Impound + 3 Day Suspension of License

Any person(s) operating a vehicle that has hydraulic equipment installed on the chassis or other component(s) of the vehicle without legitimate equipment need or purpose (such as a forklift) may not use such hydraulics while on a state, county, or local road.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $2,500 fine.

Any person(s) operating a vehicle that uses tints, or anonymizing shades without permit on his or her windows leading to an individual driving with tinted windows unable to be identified while driving.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and a fine under the following criteria:
$1,000 fine
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine + 1 Day Vehicle Impound
Tints of level 2 or lower are considered illegal. Excluding level 0.

Any person(s) who drives or operates a vehicle or machinery while under the influence of alcohol above the legal limit of 0.08% BAV, or under the influence of performance-altering narcotics, regardless of whether those drugs are legal or illegal.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a punishment under the following criteria:
3 Hours Imprisonment + 3 Day License Suspension + 3 days Vehicle Impound
6 Hours Imprisonment + 7 Day License Suspension + 7 days Vehicle Impound + $7,500 fine
1 Day Imprisonment (Upgraded to Felony) + 7 Day License Suspension + 7 days Vehicle Impound + $12,000 fine

Any person(s) performing an unlicensed or undesignated race or competition on city, county, or state paved roads or courses that incites the potential for other violations or demonstrates a potential for hazard.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a minimum of 45 Minutes, a 7 Day License Suspension, a fine of $5,000, and a 7 Day vehicle impound. Sentencing Enhancements are allowed for this charge.

Any person(s) driving or operating a vehicle and causing severe endangerment, actual physical harm, or risk of physical harm to pedestrians, and/or driving in a manner that places the public in grave danger.
Shall be liable under a Class B (3) or Class C (2) offense only, shall receive a minimum of 1 Day, a fine of $10,000, and a 2 day vehicle impound.

Any person(s) operating a motor vehicle under an expired licensed, or operating a motor vehicle without a license in any capacity.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a minimum of 30 Minutes, a fine of $2,500, and a 1 Day vehicle impound.
Note: Rentals and Airport leases are exempt from license requirement, and operate under temporary permit status as per agency issue.

Any person(s) who recklessly, or intentionally, crosses a road as a pedestrian in a manner that creates a foreseeable risk of obstructing the flow of traffic or otherwise creates a hazard to road users commits an offense.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $1,500 fine.

Any person(s) who holds possession of open containers of alcoholic beverages while operating a vehicle.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $1,000 fine.

Any person(s) while operating a motor vehicle, doesn't properly secure themselves in with the safety belt, or properly adhere to traffic safety standards when operating vehicles such as bikes, ATV's, etc without a helmet or other proper safety equipment for proper operation.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $1,000 fine.

Any person(s) operating a motor vehicle or cycle with substantial structural damage, and/or failure to adhere to proper driving requirements routine maintenance being neglected. May also extend to offenses which may lead to substantial harm to the driver during their operation of the motor vehicle if not corrected.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a $5,000 fine, and a 2 Day vehicle impound.

Any person(s) who drives, moves, or leaves standing upon a public road, any unregistered motor vehicle, or any motor vehicle that does not display an identification plate. Or who, within the time required by law, fails to pay their vehicular insurance bills.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a 3 Day license suspension, a fine of $5,000, and a 3 Day vehicle impound.

Any person(s) who operates any aircraft without the appropriate license.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, shall receive a minimum of 2 Day, a fine of $25,000, and a vehicle impound.

Any person(s) who endangers life through the operation of their aircraft, such as flying at low altitude in an urban or suburban area.
Shall be liable under a Class C (3) offense only, shall receive a minimum of 2 Days, a revocation of pilots license, a fine of $50,000, and a vehicle impound.

Any person(s) who, whilst operating an aircraft, fails to adhere to ATC protocol or commands.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $50,000 fine, along with a minimum of 30 Minutes.

Any person(s) who evades any law enforcement agency via an aircraft, whether as a pilot or passenger.
Shall be liable under a Class C (4) offense only, shall receive a minimum of 1 Day, a fine of $100,000, and a permanent vehicle seizure.

Any person(s) operating a bicycle in a manner that will likely cause property damage or harm to other road users or pedestrians.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $2,500 fine, along with a minimum of 30 Minutes.

Any person(s) engaging in the unlawful operation or usage of a vehicle directly in violation of the Vespucci Beach Motor Vehicle Regulations Act.
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and a fine under the following criteria;
$2,500 fine
$5,000 fine
$7,500 fine + 3 Day Impounding of Vehicle + 3 Day Suspension of License

Any person(s) operating a motor vehicle who fails to utilize their headlights one and a half-hour after sunset (( 20:30 / 8:30 PM )) until one and a half-hour before sunrise (( 6:30 / 6:30 AM. ))
(( Use headlights between 20:30 [8:30 PM] and 6:30 [6:30 AM] ))
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $1,500 fine.

Colored and flashing lights: This provision shall govern the affixing and display of lights on vehicles, other than those lights required by law (White Headlights and Red Stop/Brake Lights).
1. No light, other than a white/amber light, and no revolving, rotating, flashing, oscillating or constantly moving white light shall be affixed to, or displayed on any vehicle except as prescribed herein.
a. Colored under glow (Not Red or Blue) while not emitting from front or rear of the vehicle.
b. Emergency Vehicles are excluded from this provision
Shall be liable under a Class C offense only, and shall receive a $150 fine (first offence), $300 fine (second offence) and $450 fine (third offence and after) within a 60 day rolling time frame.

Driving while ability impaired. No person shall operate a motor vehicle while the person's ability to operate such motor vehicle is impaired by the consumption of alcohol.
If convicted of driving while ability impaired your punishment will depend on your driving record.
First DWI offense convictions within the prior 5 years: Convicted of a traffic infraction with a fine of $300-$500, up to 30 minutes, or both.
Second DWI offense convictions within the prior 5 years: Convicted of a traffic infraction with a fine of $500-$750, up to 45 minutes in jail, or both.
At least 3 or more DWI convictions within prior 10 years: Convicted of a misdemeanor with a fine of $750-$1500, up to 1 hour in jail, or both.
