Mission Statement

The mission of the San Andreas Emergency Communications Department is to be the lifeline and connection between the citizens of San Andreas and the states Emergency Responder's.

Our Dispatch Centers

The Communications Bureau is a critical link between the community and patrol units in the field. Dispatch Communication Centers are staffed as much as possible especially during peak seasons. The SAEC operates two dispatch centers in the State of San Andreas. One is located at Station 7 SAFR which serves as the SAEC Headquarters and Primary Dispatch Center. The alternate location is located at Mission Row Police Department for dispatchers who are assigned strictly to Los Santos Police Department. The centers provide the highest quality and most professionally competent public services to over one hundred residents in the State of San Andreas. 

The Centers handle emergency 911 calls for service as well as wireless calls, non-emergency, and allied agency calls. The calls for service range from in-progress crimes such as robberies, drug deals, and graffiti to non-emergency calls, such as petty theft or loud music calls. Communication Centers are also responsible for dispatching the appropriate patrol units to those calls for service, including specialized units like K9, Fire Investigators, and Joint Task Force (SWAT).

Trained Staff

Each new dispatcher is required by state law to complete the San Andreas Basic Dispatchers Course. This course is 4-6 hours and concludes with extensive on-the-job training with a Professional Dispatcher or higher rank. Some of the training you will receive is that of Radio Communications and Dispatch Panel training. You will also have the opportunity to become PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) certified.
